Rose Verheul

Executive Director

Rose joined us in November 2015. Before Haven House, Rose led a Supplemental Education program for seven (7) years under a contract with the Denver School system. While in this position she managed up to 85 teachers working with over 800 children with learning difficulties in reading and math in 14 different schools and in the home. Her passion is working with children who are underachieving.

Candis Coca

Case Manager

Candis has served in the capacity as Case Manager intermittently since 2016 and has rejoined our staff in a full time permanent position this August 2023.  Candis graduated from CMU with a BA in Sociology and has 10 years Case Management experience working with underserved populations with severe chronic homelessness and mental health issues.  Candis enjoys helping our Participants overcome barriers, heal from trauma, build strong foundations and making permanent changes towards self-sufficiency.

Nichole Guest

Director of Resource Development

Nichole joined Haven House in 2019 as our Director of Resource Development  to attract and strengthen our growing list of volunteers, broaden our community outreach and provide grant writing and fundraising services. Nichole is a graduate of UC Santa Barbara and has had a five-year volunteer relationship with Haven House.  Nichole is also a graduate of the Haven House Transitional Living Program.

Ashleigh Reilly

Youth Director

Ashleigh has served as part of the Haven House team since volunteering as a teenager in 2018. She has grown up working with our staff and participants in many capacities including as our Assistant Youth Director and Teacher for our  K-12 Academic Program. After graduating from High School in 2023, Ashleigh was hired full time as our Youth Director and is a great part of the team- with a strong level of experience and dedication to the children she serves.

Charlotte Ruiz

Director – Kid’s Haven Early Learning Center

Charlotte joined Haven House in 2021 bringing 15+ years experience in the field of Early Childhood including as a Navy Home Provider and as a former Director in Washington State. She has completed many workshops in Pyramid Training, first aid and CPR, and Facilitating Staff skill Development and studied at Everett Community College where she completed certificates in Early Childhood Education of Specialization, The State Initial Ealy Childhood Education, Early Childhood Specialization in Administration, Early Childhood Specialization in Infants and Toddlers. Charlotte is a passionate and committed member of the team and loves giving our children the skills they need to ensure a brighter future.

Sonya Gleason

Office Manager

Sonya is the office Manager for Haven House since October 2013 and is a graduate from the Haven House transitional program. Sonya previously worked as a teller in a retail bank, in customer service for a restaurant and in a secretarial position with several businesses.
