“Studies have shown that less than 25% of children raised in a homeless environment graduate from high school. As a result they are at a high risk of perpetuating the cycle of homelessness and poverty they were born into.
To give the Haven House children a better chance, we are building on the success of Whiz Kids (click link below for recent news) and implementing a more comprehensive child development program. The currently formed Youth Group is part of that effort. A goal of the Youth Group is to get the teens involved in constructive and educational activities.”
