GORDON COMPOSITE TEAM

=Haven House wishes to congratulate this year’s winners of our 5th Annual “Driving to End Homelessness” Golf Tournament held on August 29, 2020 at the beautiful Cobble Creek Golf Course in Montrose, Co.  This year offered some unique challenges not only with the weather but more notably Covid19 restrictions and safe distancing practices. This required a few moderations including a delicious boxed lunch in lieu of the hot buffet lunch normally offered. In addition, restrictions limited our Silent Auction bidders to 12 at a time, but despite rain, wind and these restrictions, we hosted one our most successful events to date!  Here we would like to recognize the sponsors of this tournament as well as the teams who took home the prize:

  • FIRST PLACE WINNERS

Our FIRST PLACE LOW NET win goes to the GORDON COMPOSITES MEN’S TEAM made up of Beau Fauscette, Dylan Greggerson, James VonSeggern, and Adam White (shown), who came in 21 under par with a 51 net total.  GORDON COMPOSITES also took the SECOND PLACE LOW NET with their co-ed team made up of Jamie Gorrono, Matt Padilla, James Garcia and Tanner Phillips (substituting for Daniel Gatt) who finished with a close 20 under par with a 52 net total.  A hearty CONGRATULATIONS goes out to GORDON COMPOSITES OF MONTROSE, CO. for their wins and we would like to show our gratitude for the ongoing support from this organization.  Good Job Fellas and we will see you next year on the green!

Our FIRST PLACE LOW GROSS win goes to the ALLEN TEAM made up of Tom Allen, Mark Travis, Eric Federer and Don Lunberg who came in 17 under par with a 55 gross total. An additional hearty CONGRATULATIONS goes out to this skilled team of golfers for taking the win. Haven House recognizes your generous support of our program and we look forward to also seeing you again next year for our 6th annual 2021 tournament!

  • ADDITIONAL WINNERS IN THE TOP FIVE

THIRD PLACE LOW NET win to the WESTERN GRAVEL TEAM Duane Wurtz, Russell Wurtz, Chad Hale, and Wayne Dubbs who came in 19 under par with a 53 net total.

FOURTH PLACE LOW NET was tied three ways by THE 4 DRIVERS TEAM Beverly Hines, Jan Prater (substituting for Doug Hines), Jack Elsea and Karen Elsea & the ALPINE BANK TEAM Tyler Dahl, Chuck Feeney, Trae Cranson, and Keith Obshietz (substituting for JT Armendariz) & THE ALLEN TEAM (noted above). All three teams came in at 18 under par with a 54 net total.

FIFTH PLACE LOW NET win was tied by the WEAPONS OF GRASS DESTRUCTION TEAM Randy Reitz, Gayle Reitz, Don Watts, and Glen Williams & the HORN FOUNDATION TEAM Don Horn, Jenny Horn, Julie Styes, and Jacob Hebbel. Both teams came in at 17 under par with a 55 net total.

SECOND PLACE LOW GROSS win went to THE 4 DRIVERS TEAM (noted above). Both teams came in at 14 under par with a 59 gross total.

THIRD PLACE LOW GROSS win was tied by the TRIKEY TEAM Mike Trikey, Mike Brown, Brent Culver, and Scott Allensworth & the WEAPONS OF GRASS DESTRUCTION TEAM (noted above). Both teams came in at 12 under par with a 60 gross total.

FOURTH PLACE LOW GROSS win was tied by the ALPINE BANK TEAM (noted above) & the WESTERN GRAVEL TEAM Duane Wurtz, Russell Wurtz, Chad Hale and Wayne Dubbs. Both teams came in at 11 under par with a 61 gross total.

FIFTH PLACE LOW GROSS win goes to the HORN FOUNDATION TEAM (noted above) who came in at 10 under par with a 62 gross total.

  • LONGEST DRIVE & CLOSEST TO PIN WINNERS

The LADIES LONGEST DRIVE win goes to Jan Leo, the MENS LONGEST DRIVE win goes to Terry Lane, LADIES CLOSEST TO PIN win goes to Beverly Hines, the MENS CLOSEST TO PIN win goes to Eric Federer
